Founded by Peter Huntley, a seasoned housewares designer, Stargazer Cast Iron emerged from his disillusionment with the declining standards of overseas manufacturing. Witnessing iconic American brands compromise quality for cost-efficiency prompted Huntley to set a new benchmark. His vision was clear: to offer high-quality, well-designed cast iron cookware at an accessible price point.

In the summer of 2015, after six months and 21 iterations, Huntley perfected the first Stargazer skillet. Working tirelessly from his garage in Allentown, he meticulously hand-sanded each skillet to a smooth finish, personally seasoning them in his home oven. This hands-on approach ensured every detail met his exacting standards.

Today, Stargazer continues to uphold the principles set forth in its founding year, focusing on delivering superior cast iron cookware that lasts a lifetime.
